While Susan's
primary focus is the upcoming Winter Olympics, her experience,
enthusiasm and her inspirational story make her a sought after
motivational speaker. For the past three years Susan has been
gaining experience working in the television industry and doing
on air commentary for the CBC Sports and TSN. She has recently
been approached to host future television series on the new Women's
Sports Network (WTSN) and The Women's Television Network (WTN).
Susan has also been coaching part time and in fact, it was while
coaching that she realized that her retirement was premature.
As a former
Canadian Athlete of the Year, Susan is recognized as one of the
country's top female athletes. It is a label she is proud of and
it is source of inspiration as she trains in preparation for the
2002 Winter Olympic Games in Salt Lake City, Utah.
